How did Quora get its name?

At first glance, it looks like Quora is an abbreviation for "Question or Answer". However, Cheever stated that 'I associate it with "quorum" or public congregation. We read some piece by Rich Barton about coming up with names for services. We spent a few hours brainstorming and writing down all the ideas that we could think of. The closest competition that Quora had was "Quiver" but we eventually settled on Quora'.
