Synchronous learning

Synchronous learning is the name of a distance learning method where students learn at the same time at different locations.

There are fundamentally two types of e-learning. Synchronous learning is the opposite of asynchronous learning where all students gather to learn at different times. It has resemblance to traditional classroom despite the participants being located remotely.

In synchronous learning, some interaction solutions are used such as web conferencing, live streaming, telephone, and VoIP.
